Formerly known as Promissory Oath Ordinance before it was revised by No. 47 of 1980

Sections 2-6, Section 7 as if relates to Chief Justice, yo Judges and Magistrates, and section 8 of the Promissory Oaths Ordinance has been omitted since these provisions are now duplicated in the constitution and various Public Service Acts

Section 7 as it relates to Justices of the Peace has been transferred to Summary Courts Act (Ch. 4:20) as section 4(4).
